LUTly
[ GUIDE ]

Use LUTly LUTs in CapCut

Export from LUTly, install, apply. Three steps and one setting that matters.

[ STEPS ]
STEP 01

Export at 65 point. CapCut samples LUTs coarsely; 65 point avoids banding on smooth gradients.

EXPORT AT 65 POINT
STEP 02

In desktop CapCut: Adjustment > LUT > Import. Your .cube files appear as thumbnails.

ADJUSTMENT > LUT > IMPORT
STEP 03

Apply to your original clip, or add as an adjustment layer over several clips.

APPLY OR ADJUSTMENT LAYER
The LUTly LUT replaces the editor's own log conversion

Seeing colour banding? That is CapCut's LUT sampling, not the file. Re-export from LUTly at 65 point.

[ FAQ ]

Frequently asked.

Why do I see banding?

CapCut samples LUTs coarsely. Export from LUTly at 65 point and re-import.

Does CapCut mobile support .cube files?

No. Custom LUT import is desktop only.

33 vs 65 point, what is the difference?

The number of grid points in the LUT. 65 point is a finer grid, which CapCut needs for smooth gradients.
