GoPro Protune Flat keeps detail in the sky and shadows but leaves your footage looking dull. LUTly decodes Protune with a built-in input profile and builds a custom .cube LUT from a one-sentence description, previewed live on your clip. Processed on your device. Never uploaded.
Protune Flat and the Flat colour profile record a low-contrast image so the sensor holds more highlight and shadow detail. That gives you real grading room. It also means the clip looks dull until you grade it. LUTly is the grade.
Pick "GoPro Protune" from the input profile list and LUTly linearises the flat signal before it grades. The AI decides the look on a proper image, not on a washed-out source.
Underwater, red disappears with depth. LUTly's underwater panel models that loss by depth and water type, then rebuilds it before the look is applied. Full detail on the underwater page.
